News: Halloween week, October 25 to 31
All five islands get a spooky dusk with glowing pumpkins and bats, and about half the animals wear a witch hat, a pumpkin hat or devil horns. The three in disguise hide among them.
What you do
- A new island every day, the same puzzle for everyone.
- Three animals in disguise, from easy to hard, plus a set to find and a golden secret.
- Your time, your place in today's ranking, and a streak.
- Share your result as a challenge: a friend plays the same island and sees your time to beat.
- Hide your own animal and send the link to a friend.
- Five islands so far, with penguins, monkeys, sheep, meerkats and red pandas, each in four kinds of weather.
How it's made
Each island's layout comes from a Python script: terraces, stairs, hiding spots and props. Blender builds it and bakes all lighting per weather, and three.js shows the baked light in the browser with live shadows of the animals on top. The page itself is under 0.2 MB over the wire; the island of the day streams in as separate files.
